A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Authorisation of this runner's 3rd placing was withheld until Stewards had viewed the footage and were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.

PUTERE BOY - paced roughly as the start was effected losing ground. Hung outwards racing into the first bend hampering an outside runner. Hung outwards again rounding the final bend and early in the run home contacting an outside runner despite the efforts of driver N Williamson and broke in consequence, with a trailing runner also being hampered. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. When questioned regarding the performance driver N Williamson advised the gelding had caused him difficulty during the running.
